Chris Weidman and Eryk Anders will finally clash at UFC 310 following a last-minute cancellation at UFC 309 after Anders fell sick with food poisoning. This highly anticipated matchup, now set for a 195-pound catchweight bout, will take place in the early preliminary card of UFC 310.
Weidman enters this fight following a technical decision win over Bruno Silva in March, his first victory since 2020. He originally won the fight by TKO. However, the result would immediately be overturned to a technical decision win due to Weidman poking Silva in both eyes during the finishing sequence. The 40-year-old holds a 3-7 record in last ten fights.
Meanwhile, Anders, who scored a decision win over Jamie Pickett in his last outing, enters the fight wielding a record of 2-3 in last five outings. This matchup has the potential to play out as a thrilling clash between a seasoned wrestler and a striking powerhouse.
UFC 310 opens with the early prelims, streaming on ESPN+ at 6 p.m. ET (3 p.m. PT), followed by the four-fight prelims on ESPN 2 at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT). The action then shifts to the main card at 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. PT), which will be available exclusively on pay-per-view via ESPN+.
